ACASPA and WCAA join forcesTaking place from 23 to 25 July at Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, the ACASPA Expo will feature a total of 60 exhibitors, comprising a number of WCAA members for the first time. WCAA president Charles Spiteri said the decision to join forces was a response to growing demand for a high calibre, specialised event. “Both parties got together and decided that, as we cater to the same target market, it would make sense to provide a world class event that offers networking and trade opportunities, as well as high grade knowledge and information, for example on leading edge machinery and technology. The event would be both a trade expo and a conference, including specialised business information sessions, ACASPA association manager Ana Drougas confirmed. “The economies of scale and wider remit provided by the joint expo in July will be of benefit to exhibitors and visitors alike,” she said, adding ACASPA and WCAA were also open to joining forces with other relevant organisations going forward.
