Bricos drives EcoBalance message
In contrast to the coatings offered by many products, Bricos national sales manager Mark Wood says Ecobalance’s point of difference lies in the fact that it’s “non-coated”.
“EcoBalance is non-coated. It is constructed using 100 per cent polyester, low melt yarn, but unlike other PVC-Free environmentally friendly Sunscreen fabrics on the market, it is a non-coated fabric. That is, the manufacturer has been able to develop a soft textile-like fabric that is perfectly suitable for blinds without having to apply the final cocktail of chemicals required for stiffening,” he says.
The absence of stiffening has created an additional benefit, in that EcoBalance does not suffer from ‘crease whitening’.
Positioned within the Designer Collection, distributed by Bricos in Australia and New Zealand, The EcoBalance PVC-free sunscreen blind fabric range comprises a quality blind fabric that was three years in development prior to launching. Since then it has continued to lead the market in terms of manufacturing quality, aesthetic design and environmentally safe status.
“EcoBalance has earned Oeko-Tex Certification, which tests for harmful substances in textiles, providing an additional benefit for consumers who are now more than ever, actively seeking products that are safe for their families.”
The product has a very comfortable 5 per cent openness factor and caters for both commercial and residential applications offering a modern selection of eight designer colours. It is 280cm wide and demonstrates outstanding *Fire Retardant qualities.
EcoBalance is durable and has excellent lay flat qualities, making it an ideal choice for roller, roman and panel glide blinds.
*Fire Retardant Suitable for Class 2 – 9a buildings- Building Code of Australia, USA NFPA 701 and British Standard.
