Hunter Douglas’s new view

Available in six colours in a 3.2 metre width and 12 colours in a 2.34 metre width, it is possible to match Everview Screen Fabric to almost any exterior décor.

The 2 x 2 weave is designed to offer a symmetrical finish and has an additional, functional benefit, of being able to railroad the fabric. The unique weave means the fabric has additional strength, allowing the fabric to always hang straight and resist stretching.

“The design of modern homes means larger windows and more of them, requiring wider external shading than ever before. With the combination of the 2 x 2 weave and the 3.2 metre fabric width, awnings can now be manufactured with a three metre drop and very wide widths, all with no unsightly fabric joins,” said Ellis Mitchell, Hunter Douglas Product Manager.

“Everview Screen Fabric has an openness factor of 10% which provides excellent view-through capabilities, ensuring the view to the outside is not compromised.”

“Consumers are demanding a wider range of choices when it comes to design for their homes, both internally and externally. This external fabric meets this demand with the range including metallic yarn, natural colours and also some brighter colours for those who want their external shading requirements to become a design feature,” said Mitchell.

Everview Screen Fabric meets the Australian Standards for colour fastness to resist fading. The fabric is a 100% PVC coated polyester which is strong and tear resistant for enhanced durability and performance. The fabric is also easy to clean with warm, soapy water.
