Maurice Kain launches Tweed Collection

Maurice Kain has released a new drapery fabric with an emphasis on texture.

The Tweed Collection features a range of three coordinating textured weaves called Donegal, Lewis and Harris.

Michelle West, Maurice Kain general manager confirmed: “With great neutrals and some strong staples in the colour palette, this 100 per cent cotton fabric is an obvious choice for either domestic or commercial applications.”

“The Tweed Collection was specifically designed as a drapery fabric range. On initial viewing it looks like a heavy quality furnishing fabric but once felt, you realise it is quite soft and yielding,” she said.

“We have taken the linen look but produced it in 100 per cent polyester and used a semi bright yarn to give the range lustre.”
