With mobile internet now becoming commonplace, Buz quoting could also be accessed from a large range of tablets, the company said in a statement.

“The tablet computer revolution has begun with the release of the Apple iPad2 closely followed by several Google Android 3.0 tablets, such as Samsung Galaxy 10.1, Motorola Xoom, HTC Flyer, ACER Tab and ASUS Transformer. In the Windows arena there are also several new tablets from Motion and ASUS to name but two. Dell and HP also have tablets on the way, so this seems to be the battle field in the IT world for now.”

Designed for awnings, blinds, curtains, security doors, shutters, spa covers and most other made-to-measure products, Buz offered retailers and manufacturers a totally integrated system, with Buz Retail producing on-the-spot quotes using touch screen tablets and laptops while also managing sales representatives’ diaries.

Featuring installation scheduling, the system also produced invoices, commission statements and installer statements. Buz Manufacturing could receive orders using its web ordering module, with customers able to enter their own orders and receive immediate feedback as to availability and delivery time.
